Why alienlogic? The term, borrowed from a obscure PC-based role-playing/action game from the mid 90s, suggests an unusual or different approach to problem solving or “thinking about things.” Not different just to be different, which can get old. It’s more a willingness to think laterally, to try a another angle and see where it leads. On a more practical note, I already had the domain name, and it just sounds neat.
The alienlogic blog is an exploration of many subjects that interconnect, at least in my mind- information technology, green technology, music, philosophy, religion, science, cycling, cats, coffee, and fine red wines to name a few. It’s a long-dormant idea finally acted on after being told “you should write somewhere” enough times.
