Well…It’s been a busy year. If you’re still reading this or still subscribed, thanks- The last post was a quite a long time ago. And there’s good reasons for that. But after being challenged by a few people as to what’s up with the radio silence (Lynn, Amber, JJ, et al) it’s time to get back to it.
First things first. I thought it was time for a theme redesign, so that’s what you see before you now.
Second things second. My original idea for this blog was for it to be an unfiltered venue. If I had something to say, I’d say it. But as often happens online and in real life, I found that I was censoring myself, looking over my shoulder.
Well… that’s quite enough of that. And I’m too old for it, honestly. This is not about some hidden urge to aggravate people (some might say that urge isn’t hidden at all), but more of a simple recognition that I do no one any favors by being less than forthright.
And if something here should ever lead to a lively, even energetic discussion that pushes a few buttons, isn’t that more fun than passing around virtual jello shots on Facebook?
Real jello shots are, of course, another matter entirely.
